Barcelona fans have the exclusive opportunity to own this official match-used ball from one of the greatest matches in Champions League history, the 2025 first leg Semi-Final against Inter. The match took place on 30th April 2025 and was held at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, ending in a thrilling 3-3 draw.

The landmark fixture between two multi-time Champions League winners featured several record-breaking moments, making this ball a significant part of Champions League history.

The Match

After Inter struck early, with Marcus Thuram scoring the fastest goal in Champions League Semi-Final history, followed by an incredible overhead kick from teammate Denzel Dumfries, Barcelona's Lamine Yamal responded with a sensational solo effort. In doing so, he became the youngest goalscorer in a Champions League Semi-Final at just 17 years old.

Ferran Torres brought the match level before Dumfries found the net again, but Barcelona answered swiftly, with Raphinha's shot striking the crossbar and deflecting off Inter goalkeeper Yann Sommer to seal the final goal.

Barcelona dominated possession in the match with 72%, recording 19 shots, nine on target, compared to the Italian team's seven shots, three of which were on target.

This tie, and the subsequent second leg, would go on to equal the record for the most goals ever scored in a Champions League knockout fixture, matching the 7-6 scoreline achieved in Liverpool’s aggregate victory against Roma in 2017/18.  Despite the Italian side ultimately progressing, both teams have been celebrated for the breathtaking contest, which has made its way into the history books as an all-time-classic Champions League encounter.
