Own this match-ball made for the historic 2025 Champions League Final!
On Saturday 31st May 2025, Paris delivered one of the strongest final displays ever at Munich Football Arena (Allianz Arena) in Germany, to bring home their first Champions League title. Now, PSG fans have the exclusive opportunity to own an official match- ball from the thrilling victory against Inter.
The ball was made for the contest which saw Paris record an emphatic 5-0 scoreline, the biggest winning margin in a UCL Final dating back to 1956. This also significantly concluded a historic treble, after the team also won the Ligue 1 and Coupe de France this season. Amongst the records, Désiré Doué became the first teenager since 1962 to score twice in a UCL final, later being named Player of the Match.
The Match
Paris went ahead only 12 minutes after the start whistle, with the earliest goal in a Champions League Final since 2019. Vintinha’s tactical pass into the box found Désiré Doué who then slid the ball to Achraf Hakimi, the former Inter player making no mistake and tapping into the net for the lead.
Just eight minutes later, Paris Saint-Germain saw their lead was doubled when Doué shot from the right of the box, deflecting off Federico Dimarco and sailing past Inter Milan goalkeeper, Yann Sommer. The monumental night for Doué continued in the second half as he grabbed Paris’ third goal of the night on the 63rd minute.
Ten minutes later, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia added a fourth, shortly followed by Senny Mayulu, who completed the scoring for PSG in the 86th minute – only two minutes after being subbed on and adding his name to an esteemed list of teenage scorers in Champions League finals.
After the final-whistle, Désiré Doué was awarded the Player of the Match award for his contribution on the historic night.
The impressive 5-0 victory is the most one-sided win in Champions League history, surpassing AC Milan’s two 4-0 wins in 1994 and 1989 as well as Bayern Munich’s 4-0 victory in 1974.
